Three Arrested in Osun for Possessing Human Skull

On June 15, 2026, a resident of Osun State reported to the Osun State Police Command that the grave of their late elder brother had been tampered with, leading to the discovery that the skull had been removed by an unknown person. Following this report, police operations commenced, and credible intelligence led to the arrest of Ogunsola Ojo, aged 40, on June 17, 2026.

During interrogation, Ojo allegedly implicated three other individuals: Ayeloja Lattef, Azeez Rashe, and Kunle Fatai. Subsequent searches at Fatai's residence resulted in the recovery of a human skull concealed in an incomplete building beside his house.

Further searches at Kunle Fatai's residence also led to the recovery of another human skull. The items have been documented and registered as exhibits.

The investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, and the suspects will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
