Bandit Attack Claims Lives of Three Policemen in Katsina

On Easter Sunday, a renewed attack by bandits in Katsina State resulted in the deaths of three policemen. The incident occurred in the communities of Musawa, Matazu, and Tangani Sayaya.

Lawal Batagarawa, a leader of the African Democratic Congress and former Minister of State for Education, disclosed the fatalities during a briefing with journalists. He condemned the ongoing loss of lives, particularly in northern Nigeria, and emphasized the urgent need for the federal government to address the security crisis.

Batagarawa highlighted the government's fundamental duty to ensure the safety of lives and property, warning that without security, societal stability is at risk. He expressed sympathy for the families of the deceased policemen and called for a more effective response to the escalating insecurity in the region.
