Thugs Attack ADC Office in Edo State, Setting Building on Fire

In Edo State, the African Democratic Party (ADC) office in Benin was attacked by suspected thugs who vandalized the premises, shattered windows, and set parts of the building on fire. Kennedy Odion, the Edo State Chairman of ADC, confirmed the attack and emphasized the need for security agencies to prosecute the perpetrators.

The incident occurred on a Wednesday night, with eyewitnesses reporting that the assailants arrived in a white bus and attempted to set the building ablaze. The Edo State Police Command spokesperson, SP Eno Ikoedem, stated that preliminary investigations revealed malicious damage to party property.

Security has been deployed to prevent further attacks, and efforts are underway to identify and apprehend those responsible.
