TICAD: Details Of Tinubu’s Meeting With Nigerians In Japan Emerges

Former Governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, held an interactive session with Nigerians in Japan at the Kahala Hotel Resort in Yokohama during the sidelines of the 9th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD). Tinubu highlighted the achievements and reform agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari's administration, urging the diaspora community to remain patriotic and supportive.

He emphasized the government's efforts to improve passport issuance and healthcare facilities, aiming to reduce medical tourism and create job opportunities. Attendees, including professionals, entrepreneurs, and government officials, praised the pace of reforms and pledged their support.

Tinubu also encouraged Nigerians abroad to be good ambassadors of the country. President Buhari is set to begin a state visit to Brazil after a stopover in Los Angeles, following his attendance at TICAD9.
