Timi Frank Critiques Tinubu's Lagos-Centric Policies

Timi Frank, a former deputy national public secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has publicly criticized President Bola Tinubu for what he describes as a "Lagos-centric agenda." In a statement issued on a recent date, Frank accused Tinubu's administration of diverting major government decisions and investments to Lagos State, sidelining other regions of Nigeria. He expressed concern that this approach undermines national unity and exacerbates existing divisions among Nigerians.

Frank highlighted that the administration's actions appear to be a deliberate strategy to impoverish certain regions, particularly the North, South-South, and South-East, while concentrating political and economic power in Lagos. He also raised alarms about the administration's foreign loan agreements, particularly those related to agricultural and industrial development, which he claims lack nationwide impact.

Frank warned that these agreements could deepen Nigeria's debt burden without delivering tangible benefits, risking the country's economic stability ahead of the 2027 elections.
