Timi Frank Accuses Tinubu of Favoring Lagos in Governance

Timi Frank, the former deputy national public secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has accused President Bola Tinubu of planning to centralize political and economic power in Lagos. In a statement made on Monday, Frank expressed concerns that Tinubu's administration is focused on a Lagos-centric agenda, which he believes is a significant decision aimed at benefiting Lagos State.

He warned that this trend could sideline other regions of Nigeria and undermine national unity. Frank's remarks come in light of Tinubu's potential re-election campaign for 2027, suggesting that the president's initiatives may disproportionately favor Lagos.

He also criticized the federal appointments and development initiatives under Tinubu, indicating that they largely benefit Lagos, which could lead to further regional disparities in the country.
