Tinubu Appoints Akinwande as President of SURCON

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu appointed Moshood Onifad Akinwande as the President of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON). Akinwande's appointment will be formalized with a swearing-in ceremony at the office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akum, in Abuja.

The regulatory body of SURCON will comprise 59 members, including the Surveyor General from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory. Akinwande, a proud alumnus of the 1981 set of Ladigbolu Grammar School in Oyo, is recognized for his dedication and excellence in the surveying profession.

His appointment is described as a landmark achievement that reflects the solid foundation of discipline and academic excellence instilled by his alma mater. The community and alumni of Ladigbolu Grammar School expressed pride in Akinwande's success and extended congratulations to him and his family.
