Tinubu Approves ₦3.9 Trillion for 27 Road Projects

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu approved 27 road projects across 15 states in Nigeria, with a total investment value of ₦3.9 trillion. This decision was disclosed by the Federal Minister of Works, David Umahi, following a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.

The projects aim to improve road infrastructure across the country. Notable projects include a ₦1.8 trillion dual carriageway in Niger State, funded through a tax credit scheme involving entrepreneur Aliko Dangote.

Other significant allocations include ₦276 billion for the dualization of the Ilorin-Ogbomoso road, ₦265 billion for the reconstruction of the Iseyin-Eruwa-Agbesi road, and ₦217 billion for the dualization of the old alignment of the Ijaye-Federal Government College-Ilorin road. The projects also encompass various rehabilitations and constructions across states like Oyo, Ebonyi, and Adamawa, with amounts ranging from ₦15 billion to ₦110 billion for different road initiatives.
