Tinubu Confirms State Police Plans, Urges Calm in Kano

Tinubu also urged the Governor of Kano State, Abba Yusuf, to exercise restraint amid rising political tensions, particularly following Yusuf's recent shift from the New Nigeria Peoples Party to the All Progressives Congress. The President highlighted the significance of Ramadan coinciding with the Christian Lent season, calling for unity and discipline among Nigerians.

He commended Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum for his Ramadan outreach program and encouraged all governors to extend development opportunities to grassroots communities. Tinubu's remarks also included a call for inclusivity within political parties and a commitment to fostering national unity.
