ADC Chieftain Accuses Tinubu of Academic Forgery

Kalu Kalu, a prominent member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has publicly accused President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of forging his academic certificates. During an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday, Kalu claimed that Tinubu's educational records are inconsistent and warrant further investigation.

He highlighted that the controversy surrounding Tinubu's credentials intensified after former Vice President Atiku Abubakar sought access to records from Chicago State University amid legal disputes following the 2023 presidential election. Kalu stated that documents released during this process revealed alarming discrepancies, including Tinubu's claim of attending Government College Lagos and graduating in 1970, despite the school being established in 1974.

Additionally, Kalu questioned the validity of a General Certificate of Education document submitted by Tinubu, asserting that it was also found to be false. He noted that Tinubu's previous election records showed differing claims about his educational background, further complicating the matter.
