The reshuffle, detailed in an official circular dated February 9, 2026, and signed by the Permanent Secretary Dr. Yakubu Adam Kofarmata, involves redeployments and role changes affecting directors at agencies such as the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET), and Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

The exercise aims to strengthen institutional capacity, enhance aviation safety oversight, and improve service delivery in Nigeria's aviation industry. Notable changes include the transfer of Airohiuodion Henri Omonzogi from NIMET to NSIB as Director of Corporate Services, and the reassignment of Dr. Nasiru Sani to head Corporate Services in a cross-posting move.
