Minister Keyamo Orders Immediate Redeployment of Aviation Agency Directors

Minister Festus Keyamo, in a circular dated February 9, 2026, approved the immediate redeployment of several directors across key aviation agencies in Nigeria. The affected agencies include the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency (NAMA), Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NIMET), and the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB).

Directors such as Funk Arowojore, Dr. Nasiru Sani, Baro Minabawarr, Muonemeh Lotenna, and others have been reassigned to different roles within the agencies.

Additionally, Capt. Chris Najomo has been relieved of his duties as the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), with Augustina Erah appointed as the new Director of Special Duties.

The redeployment and changes are aimed at improving the efficiency and operations of the aviation sector in Nigeria.
