Tinubu Govt Supporting Bayero Against Sanusi In Kano To Help Them Win 2027 Election – Galadima

Political analyst Galadima claimed during a guest appearance on Channels Television that the Tinubu-led government is supporting Aminu Ado Bayero over Emir Muhammadu Sanusi II in Kano to secure victory in the 2027 election. The rivalry between Bayero and Sanusi dates back to the latter's ascension to the Kano Emirate throne in 2014, following the deposition of Sanusi by the previous administration.

Despite Sanusi's reinstatement in 2024, Bayero's camp has resisted, leading to a legal battle still pending in court. Galadima accused the federal government of using security agencies to destabilize Kano for political gain.

He also mentioned that the NNPP leader is backing Sanusi for the 2027 presidential bid. The situation in Kano remains tense as the power struggle between the two factions continues.
