Tinubu Commends Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa's Excellence

President Bola Tinubu praised the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa for its commitment to excellence in technical education during the institution's 11th combined convocation ceremony held in Nasarawa Local Government Area, Nasarawa State, on Saturday. Represented by the Director of the Polytechnic, Tinubu reaffirmed his administration's commitment to prioritizing technical education, describing it as critical for Nigeria's economic transformation.

He noted that the future of Nigeria's industries depends on a quality technical and vocational workforce. Tinubu announced that the Federal Government has earmarked N50 billion for graduate entrepreneurship loans by 2026 and called for deeper collaboration between the Polytechnic and national agencies to harness the state's abundant mineral resources.

The ceremony saw 48,360 students graduate, with awards conferred to distinguished individuals, including Deputy Governor Emmanuel Akab and other notable figures in education and governance.
