Tinubu Reappoints Ayo Omotayo as NIPSS DG for Final Term

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially reappointed Professor Ayo Omotayo as the Director-General of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) located in Kuru. This reappointment has been confirmed through a statement by the Special Adviser on Strategic Communications, Bayo Onanuga.

The new term for Professor Omotayo will last for four years, marking his final term in this role. The announcement coincides with the celebration of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo's 89th birthday on March 5, where President Tinubu acknowledged Obasanjo's significant influence and contributions to Nigeria and Africa, highlighting his courageous sacrifices during his tenure as a military head of state from 1976 to 1979 and later as the first civilian president from 1999 to 2007.
