Man Blames Tinubu After Friend's Alleged Kidnap in Edo

A Nigerian man publicly expressed his frustration regarding the country's security situation after his friend was allegedly kidnapped while traveling along the Benin-Lagos Expressway. In a viral video, he narrated the incident, advising others to avoid traveling on that road due to persistent security concerns.

He mentioned that his friend had planned to travel by air but opted for the road due to high flight ticket costs. The man claimed that the kidnapping occurred near a major transit point in the southwestern and southern regions of Nigeria, suggesting that the suspects were dressed in police uniforms during the attack.

He expressed anger towards the situation and blamed President Bola Tinubu's administration for failing to ensure safety, stating that insecurity has worsened under his leadership. The Nigerian Police Force has not released an official statement regarding the alleged abduction, which is part of a troubling trend of armed attacks and kidnappings in Edo and Ondo states.
