Akume Praises Tinubu's Leadership for National Unity

On Tuesday in Abuja, Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a detribalised and inclusive leader. Akume stated that Tinubu's governance style promotes national unity, peaceful coexistence, and equal opportunities for all Nigerians, regardless of ethnic or religious backgrounds.

He noted that the Tinubu administration is dedicated to building a united nation where merit and character are prioritized. Akume highlighted Tinubu's past as Governor of Lagos State, where he appointed qualified individuals from diverse ethnicities.

He assured the Nigerian Fulani Community Support Group (NFCSG) that their requests would be considered, emphasizing the government's commitment to responsive governance. Akume called for collaboration to ensure a peaceful electoral process in 2027 and urged Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence while supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda for national development.

He reiterated that Nigeria's diversity is a strength and that the government will work with anyone promoting peace.
