APC Ticket of Tinubu and Mustapha Promises Success in Kwara

The Ilorin Emir Advisory Council, represented by Lt. Col. Abubakar Edun (retd), expressed strong confidence in the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket of Bola Tinubu and Saliu Mustapha for the upcoming 2027 general elections. During an interview in Ilorin, Kwara State, Edun highlighted that Tinubu's administration has brought unprecedented federal recognition to the state and has strategically appointed qualified indigenes to key positions, enhancing public confidence in the APC-led federal government.

He noted that Mustapha's candidacy significantly boosts the party's electoral fortunes, particularly in the National Assembly polls. Edun emphasized that the APC's chances of victory in Kwara State depend on maintaining internal cohesion and the proven political appeal of its candidates.

As the political dynamics within the Kwara APC intensify ahead of the elections, Saliu Mustapha has formally expressed interest in joining the governorship race, raising concerns about potential internal friction among the 16 governorship aspirants.
