Tinubu Orders Security Chiefs to Maiduguri After Attacks

He characterized the latest attacks as desperate actions by terrorist groups attempting to instill fear. Tinubu reaffirmed the administration's commitment to intensifying efforts against criminal elements across the country, highlighting the bravery of the armed forces and security agencies.

The president noted that the coordinated attack on Monday, which occurred near a popular market and a hospital, was a sign of the terrorists' desperation. He also disclosed that additional operational support and equipment for security agencies had been approved.
