Tinubu Congratulates Adeleke on Osun Election Victory

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, through his spokesman Bayo Onanuga, congratulated Ademola Adeleke on his election victory in Osun State. Tinubu described the election outcome as a confirmation of the people's confidence in Adeleke and a sign that democracy will thrive under the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.

He expressed his wishes for Adeleke's success as he prepares to lead the state for the next four years, emphasizing the need for unity among the people of Osun State, regardless of their political affiliations. Tinubu also commended the courage of other contestants in the election, stating that their participation enriched Nigeria's democratic culture.

He acknowledged the Independent National Electoral Commission and security agencies for conducting a peaceful and transparent election, which resulted in Adeleke receiving 511,067 votes to defeat Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, who garnered 444,815 votes.
