Tinubu Redeploys Fani-Kayode to South Africa, Enang to Germany

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially approved the redeployment of Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, to serve as Nigeria's ambassador to South Africa. This decision was made following a request from Fani-Kayode, who expressed a preference for the South African post over Germany.

The announcement was made in a statement on Thursday. Additionally, Ita Enang, who is also a senator, will be reassigned to Germany.

The statement did not provide specific reasons for the redeployments but indicated that Fani-Kayode expressed appreciation for the consideration shown by President Tinubu and Senator Ita Enang regarding his new role. The changes reflect ongoing adjustments within Nigeria's diplomatic missions abroad.
