Tinubu Returns to Abuja After Eid-el-Fitr in Lagos

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Wednesday after departing Lagos, where he observed Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast. His aircraft left the presidential wing of Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos at 6:44 PM.

During his stay in Lagos, he held meetings with several political and diplomatic stakeholders, as disclosed by his special adviser, Bayo Onanuga. Among those he received were Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji and a delegation from the European Union.

Additionally, Vice President Kashim Shettima traveled to Lagos to brief the President on his recent trip to Borno State, which followed a series of suicide bombings in the area. Several political leaders and government officials, including Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun, former Ogun State Governor Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, and Lagos Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, were present at the airport for the President's departure.
