Tinubu Arrives Lagos for Easter, Plans Security Measures

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Thursday at 8:40 PM for Easter celebrations and is scheduled to visit Ogun and Bayelsa states. During his visit, he is expected to inaugurate the cargo airport located in Iperu, Ogun State.

Following recent violent incidents in Plateau State, where a gun attack claimed innocent lives, Tinubu announced that the federal government will deploy artificial intelligence-enabled networks of 5,000 digital cameras to assist law enforcement agencies in combating insecurity. He directed the Minister of Defence, Gen.

Christoph Musa (Rtd), Chief of Army Staff Gen. Waidi Shaibu, and Inspector General of Police Olatunji Disu to investigate the attacks.

The Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijjani, will oversee the immediate installation of security cameras in coordination with Plateau State's security agencies. Tinubu expressed his dismay over the violence and pledged that the government would ensure justice for the affected families.
