SDP Chieftain Critiques Tinubu's Governance Approach

Prince Adewole Adebayo, a chieftain of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), delivered a harsh assessment of President Bola Tinubu's administration, describing it as akin to a doctor who neglects a patient, suggesting that the current government is worsening Nigeria's economic hardships and public confidence. Adebayo emphasized the need for fresh political direction, asserting that the country requires a new approach to governance.

He criticized the current electoral framework and warned that the SDP might boycott future elections if necessary reforms are not made. Adebayo argued that the focus should be on mobilizing ordinary citizens rather than forming alliances with established politicians, whom he believes have failed Nigeria.

He expressed confidence that the opposition could offer better leadership, urging citizens to demand accountability from their leaders as the nation prepares for the 2027 elections.
