Tinubu Assures Armed Forces: Your Sacrifice Matters

During an interfaith breakfast at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed members of the Nigerian Armed Forces, assuring them that their sacrifices would not be in vain. He reaffirmed his administration's commitment to the welfare of the military personnel and highlighted the importance of their bravery in the face of insecurity in the country.

Tinubu acknowledged the challenges faced by the armed forces, including attacks from bandits and terrorists, and commended their courage and dedication to defending Nigeria's sovereignty. He noted recent approvals for enhancing the welfare and operational efficiency of the armed forces, including an upward review of salaries and provisions for decent accommodation.

Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Oluwafemi Oluyode represented the military leadership at the event, expressing gratitude for the government's support.

Tinubu also extended his sympathies to the people of Borno State following a recent terrorist attack.
