Tinubu Vows to Equip Forces Against Bandits in Bayelsa

During a visit to Bayelsa State on Friday, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu emphasized the government's commitment to equipping the armed forces to effectively combat banditry and terrorism. He made this declaration while inaugurating key infrastructure projects, including a 60-megawatt independent power plant in Elebele and a 630-meter bridge in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area.

Tinubu highlighted the importance of collaboration between federal and state governments to drive development and create job opportunities. He commended the administration of Governor Douye Diri for its significant reforms, particularly in the power sector, which has established reliable electricity supply.
