Wike Inspects Abuja Projects for Tinubu's Anniversary

Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), conducted an inspection tour of strategic projects in Abuja on Monday to commemorate President Bola Tinubu's third year in office. During the tour, Wike assessed ongoing projects, including the access road to the Renew Hope Estate in Karsana, the N16 billion dual carriageway linking Jahi and Gwarimpa, and the dualization of the Kuje-Gwagwalada road.

He praised the contractors for their commitment to quality and timelines. Wike also addressed illegal developments in Guzap District, warning that any unauthorized conversion of green areas into residential estates would result in immediate demolition.

He reiterated the administration's commitment to maintaining the integrity of the city and commended security agencies for their efforts in ensuring safety in the FCT, particularly in light of recent kidnapping incidents in satellite towns. Wike emphasized that crime should not be tolerated and that the government would take necessary actions to uphold law and order.
