In a statement posted on its verified X handle, the firm indicated that its next briefing to the Donald Trump administration and Congress will focus on the efforts of senior Nigerian government officials to protect President Tinubu.

The firm criticized Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, for dismissing its pursuit of Tinubu's alleged heroin-trafficking records as insignificant. The firm questioned why a high-ranking Nigerian Minister would respond to a small American lobbying firm, suggesting that the Nigerian government is acting like a "narco-state" in its defense of Tinubu, who has been implicated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a criminal organization involved in heroin smuggling from Nigeria to the U.S. during the 1980s and 1990s.
