Under the Biden administration, the organisation argues, government agencies withheld documents pertaining to Tinubu's purported role in heroin trafficking probes, contradicting the legal mandate designed to ensure citizens can access official records.

This push represents an escalation of what commentators view as protracted litigation spanning many years. By galvanising drug policy organisations and community-based groups across America, the strategy appears intended to generate grassroots and institutional leverage compelling Washington to fulfill information requests.
