Allegations of Forged US Embassy Letter Against Tinubu

This allegation arose following the circulation of the letter, referenced by Nigeria’s ambassador to Mexico, Reno Omokri, in defense of Tinubu against claims regarding his history in the United States.

The firm pointed out several spelling, grammatical, and formatting errors in the document, including incorrect words like “czheck” instead of “check” and “maitatins” instead of “maintains.” They also highlighted issues with phrases such as “it’s territories” and “contact me direct.” The firm emphasized that these errors raised doubts about the document's authenticity and called for independent verification. They warned that if the letter were found to be fabricated, it could have serious legal implications under US law.
