Tinubu’s Minister Speaks On Call For His Sack

Minister Ekpo, a close ally of Bola Tinubu, has dismissed a petition calling for his removal as frivolous and baseless. The petition, signed by disgruntled individuals from 29 states and 31 local government areas, accuses Ekpo of betraying the party and prioritizing personal ambitions over party unity.

However, Ekpo's Senior Special Assistant, Louis Ibah, defended the minister, highlighting his contributions to the APC and development in Akwa Ibom. Ibah emphasized Ekpo's role in unlocking Nigeria's gas potential, attracting investments, and creating jobs.

He also noted Ekpo's support for President Tinubu's agenda for the 2023 elections. Ibah dismissed the petition as a mischievous plot by political jobbers and affirmed Ekpo's loyalty to the APC and Tinubu's administration.
