Delta Speaker Guwor Links Tinubu's Support to Reforms

Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, stated that the increasing political support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is due to the Federal Government's economic reforms and infrastructure projects.

Speaking in Kano, Guwor noted the movement of governors into the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a sign of confidence in the Tinubu administration. He highlighted key policies such as the removal of the fuel subsidy and foreign exchange reforms, alongside infrastructure projects like the rail project and the revamp of the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport.

Guwor mentioned that Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori's decision to join the APC was influenced by a desire to align with the Federal Government's development agenda. He expressed confidence that Nigerians would support Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election.

The "Door-to-Door" movement aims to mobilize grassroots support, with plans to establish chapters nationwide and engage directly with residents.
