Onoh Dismisses Concerns Over Tinubu's Stumble in Turkey, Cites Normalcy Among World Leaders

Onoh, a former southeast spokesman and chairman of a presidential forum, has addressed the brief stumble of Nigerian President Tinubu during an official engagement in Turkey. Onoh clarified that the incident, where Tinubu momentarily lost his footing, is a normal human occurrence and not a sign of ill health.

He pointed out that such incidents are common among world leaders, citing examples like former U.S. President Gerald Ford and current leaders like Joe Biden, Barack Obama, Xi Jinping, and Fidel Castro.

Onoh attributed Tinubu's stumble to the poorly laid blue carpet at the venue, emphasizing that it had no impact on the diplomatic mission. Tinubu proceeded with his scheduled plans, including holding bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other senior officials.

Onoh urged critics and opposition figures to focus on offering constructive policy alternatives rather than exploiting such incidents for political gain.
