Presidency Defends Tinubu After Stumbling Incident in Turkey

The Nigerian Presidency has come to the defense of Bola Tinubu following an incident during his official visit to Turkey where he stumbled but did not fall. President's spokesperson, Bayo Onanuga, responded to inquiries, stating that Tinubu merely stepped on metal, causing him to lose balance.

Onanuga emphasized that the incident was not a big deal and described it as a minor stumble. Tinubu's stumble was attributed to stepping on the metal floor, which momentarily disrupted his balance.

The Presidency clarified that despite the stumble, Tinubu did not fall or tumble, and the incident was not significant unless someone intended to create mischief. The spokesperson expressed gratitude that Tinubu did not suffer a more serious fall during the incident.
