Tinubu Support Group Endorses Shekarau for Senate

The Tinubu Support Group, led by Baffa Babba Danagundi, has officially endorsed Ibrahim Shekarau as the APC candidate for the Kano Central Senatorial District. This endorsement marks a significant shift in the political landscape of Kano Central, as the group had earlier supported Garba Yusuf Abubakar, who had invested heavily in promoting his candidacy across 15 local government areas within the senatorial zone.

Danagundi explained that the decision to change support does not diminish the efforts previously made for Abubakar, whose campaign structure remains fully aligned with the group's objectives. The endorsement of Shekarau is seen as a strategic move ahead of the forthcoming elections, with other notable figures such as Abdulsalam Abdulkarim Zaura, Ibrahim Shaaban Sharada, and Usman Bala also being mentioned in the context of the political dynamics in the region.
