Tinubu Set for September Visit to Akwa Ibom State

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has extended an invitation to President Bola Tinubu to visit the state and inaugurate several projects completed over the past three years. The visit is expected to take place in September and may last for two days, with specific details still being finalized.

This visit would make Akwa Ibom the 14th state visited by President Tinubu since he assumed office, following previous visits to states including Lagos, Enugu, and Ogun. Among the projects that may be inaugurated during this visit are the Arise Palm Resort, the Nsit Atai – Okobo Road, and a new airport terminal building.

Eno has been recognized for his governance style, which emphasizes completing projects regardless of their origin. The Tropicana Complex, which includes an International Convention Centre and Tropicana Hotel, is also highlighted as a significant attraction for the President to see.
