Tinubu to Inaugurate Key Projects in Akwa Ibom State

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to visit Akwa Ibom State in September to inaugurate projects that have been executed over the past three years. Governor Umo Eno extended the invitation for this visit, which will mark Tinubu's 14th state visit since assuming office.

The projects to be inaugurated include 1,300 kilometers of roads, 40 bridges, a model health center, primary schools, and 1,048 housing units, among others. Notable projects include the Aris Palm Resort and a new airport terminal.

Governor Eno expressed enthusiasm for the visit, emphasizing the cordial relationship between the state and the presidency. The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for direct communication between the president and the citizens, showcasing the governor's achievements and the federal government's support for the state.

This visit is significant as it follows a period during which previous governors did not invite former President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.
