NCDC to Boost Student Innovations Under Tinubu's Vision

The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has pledged to collaborate with Nigerian students to foster innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic productivity, in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's vision for youth development. At the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone C Summit held in Kwara state, Dr Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, Managing Director and CEO of NCDC, emphasized the need for students' innovative ideas to be supported for practical outcomes.
Represented by Comrade Solomon Adodo, a member of the NCDC board, Tsenyil highlighted that adequate funds have been allocated in the budget for entrepreneurship training and related initiatives. Adodo praised President Tinubu for establishing regional development commissions, viewing it as a strategic move to tackle developmental challenges and enhance regional growth.
The proposed program will focus on digital, vocational, and technical skills, business development, mentorship, and entrepreneurship training, covering states including Benue, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, and the FCT.
