NCDC to Launch Entrepreneurship Centres for Students

The North Central Development Commission (NCDC) has announced plans to create entrepreneurship development centres for students in all states of the North Central region and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This initiative aims to fulfill President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision for Nigerian youths by promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic productivity.
At the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Zone C Summit, Comrade Solomon Adodo, representing the FCT on the NCDC Board, emphasized the commission's commitment to supporting students' creativity and innovative ideas. He noted that sufficient funds have been allocated in the NCDC's budget for entrepreneurship training and related interventions.
The summit, held in Kwara State, gathered student representatives from the six North Central states and the FCT. Adodo praised President Tinubu for establishing regional development commissions, describing the initiative as a strategic intervention to address developmental challenges and enhance regional growth.
He stressed the importance of practical actions and collaboration to achieve meaningful results for students.
