Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation Launches Leadership Training Cohort

The Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation has announced the opening of applications for the sixth cohort of its flagship Public Leaders Programme (PLP), which is designed to empower high-potential public sector leaders across Africa. This six-month executive education initiative will be delivered in collaboration with the University of Oxford's Blavatnik School of Government and is set to commence in October 2026.

Since its inception in 2021, the PLP has gained a strong reputation for creating tangible impacts, with alumni implementing 230 reform projects across various ministries, departments, and agencies in Africa. A survey indicated that 62% of alumni received promotions and expanded their leadership roles post-training.

The program is free for selected participants, with the foundation covering costs including accommodation and meals during the residential week. The application deadline is April 12, 2026, and the program aims to equip leaders with the necessary tools and insights to navigate complex public sector challenges.
