Tinubu Urges Governors to Prioritize Inclusivity and Unity

During an interfaith gathering at the Presidential Villa on Monday, President Bola Tinubu called on governors across Nigeria to prioritize policies that support the poor and underprivileged. He emphasized the importance of tolerance and building structures that foster inclusivity among citizens.

The event coincided with the observance of Ramadan and Lent, highlighting shared human experiences among Nigerians. Tinubu expressed gratitude for the achievements made so far, particularly in reducing poverty and empowering youth.

He welcomed Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and commended Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum for his outreach efforts during Ramadan. Tinubu reiterated the need for state police to combat insecurity and urged governors to work together to uplift the downtrodden.

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma praised Tinubu for promoting national unity amid religious and ethnic tensions. The gathering served as a reminder of the importance of cooperation between Christians and Muslims in Nigeria.
