Tompolo Launches PBAT Movement in Katsina for 2027 Elections

The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement was officially launched in Katsina State on Saturday, September 5, 2023, at the People’s Square. The movement, led by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, known as Tompolo, aims to mobilize grassroots support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

During the event, campaign vehicles and equipment were handed over to local government coordinators. National Coordinator Sunday Asuku addressed the crowd, urging them to support Tinubu, emphasizing that "every door matters" in securing votes.

Katsina State Governor Dr. Governor Dikko Umar Radda assured Tinubu of the state's support, highlighting the historical political ties between Tinubu and Katsina's prominent figures. Tompolo, represented by Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Limited, spoke on the Federal Government’s economic reforms, particularly the push for greater financial autonomy for local governments, which he believes will enhance development at the grassroots level.
