Prominent Kwara Cleric Sheikh Abdulqodir Passes Away

Sheikh Abdulqodir, a notable cleric of Khalifatul Adabiyah, has died, prompting widespread mourning in Ilorin, Kwara State. His passing was confirmed in a Facebook post by Sheikh Abdul Fatah Aribidesi.

The Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari, expressed his condolences through a statement issued by his spokesman, Dr.

Abdulazeez Arowona, describing the incident as a colossal loss to the people of Ilorin and the Muslim community at large. The Emir prayed for Allah's mercy on the deceased and comfort for his family.

Sheikh Abdulqodir was the eldest surviving son of the late Sheikh Muhammad Kamaludeen Al Adabi, who was the first Grand Mufti of Ilorin. Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, also expressed deep sorrow over the cleric's death, calling it a monumental loss for the Ilorin Emirate and the Muslim ummah.
