Uba Sani's New Aides Applauded by Tourism Expert

Dr. Tobi Bernard Thomas, a renowned tourism consultant and hospitality industry expert, praised Kaduna State Governor Senator Uba Sani for his recent appointment of new aides. Thomas described the appointments as an opportunity to strengthen governance and introduce fresh expertise into the administration.

He emphasized that if effectively utilized, these appointments could enhance the administration's capacity to improve the welfare and economic prospects of the people in Kaduna State. Thomas urged the governor to establish a Kaduna State Tourism Board Corporation (KTB Corporation), which he believes is essential for unlocking the state's significant tourism and hospitality potential.

He highlighted Kaduna's rich cultural heritage, historical sites, natural landscapes, festivals, and diverse hospitality offerings as assets that could be better developed through a dedicated tourism commission. Thomas asserted that a well-structured tourism sector could significantly contribute to the state's internally generated revenue, attract private-sector investment, create employment opportunities, support local businesses, and strengthen Kaduna's status as a major tourism destination in Nigeria.
