Uba Sani Appoints New Commissioners in Kaduna State

On Thursday, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State announced the appointment of three commissioners and various board members to bolster his administration's development agenda. The Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Malam Ibraheem Musa, released a statement detailing the appointments.

Ben Kure was appointed as Commissioner for Sports Development, Amina Akilu Dalhat as Commissioner for Special Duties I, and Abdullahi Garba Abbas as Commissioner for Special Duties II. Additionally, Dr Haliru Soba was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff, Administration.

The governor also appointed chairmen and members of key boards and agencies, including Alhaji Munir Jafaru as Chairman of the Kaduna State Health Care Board and retired AVM Bashir Saidu as Chairman of the Kaduna Vigilance Service Board. Other notable appointments include retired Justice Gideon Isa Kurada as Chairman of the College of Education, Gidan Waya, and Esther Bago as Chairman of the Institute of Vocational Training and Skills Development.

Governor Sani emphasized the need for the appointees to bring fresh perspectives and align their responsibilities with his vision for a transformed and resilient Kaduna State.
