Transcorp Hotels Reports ₦13.7bn PBT in Q2 2026

Transcorp Hotels Plc, the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, announced its unaudited results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported a profit after tax of ₦10.5 billion, marking a 21% increase from ₦8.7 billion in Q2 2025.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose by 12% to ₦13.7 billion from ₦12.2 billion in the same period last year. Revenue for the quarter was ₦44.4 billion, down from ₦46.9 billion in Q2 2025, attributed to softer market demand in the International Business segment.

The company's Operating Expense Margin improved by three percentage points, indicating enhanced operational efficiency. Uzoamaka Oshogwe, Managing Director/CEO, emphasized the company's resilience and commitment to operational excellence.

Chief Finance Officer Oluwatobiloba Ojediran noted the disciplined approach to cost management and revenue optimization that led to the financial growth. Transcorp Hotels continues to enhance its portfolio, with Transcorp Hilton Abuja and Transcorp Centre being key assets.
