Transcorp Hotels Plc (NGX: TRANSCOHOT) disclosed its unaudited H1 2026 results on July 22, 2026, covering the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported Profit Before Tax of ₦13.7 billion, up 12% from ₦12.2 billion in the corresponding period of 2025. Profit After Tax grew 21% to ₦10.5 billion, compared with ₦8.7 billion in Q2 2025.
Revenue declined to ₦44.4 billion from ₦46.9 billion in Q2 2025, with management attributing the drop to softer market demand in the International Business segment. Despite the revenue contraction, the company reported a 3 percentage point improvement in Operating Expense Margin, which management credited to disciplined cost management and operational efficiency.
The company highlighted two key assets in its portfolio: Transcorp Hilton Abuja, described as a flagship property, and Transcorp Centre, a purpose-built event and conference venue with 5,000-seat capacity that has hosted several high-profile gatherings since its launch. Transcorp Hotels is a hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc, which also holds investments in the power and energy sectors.
