Transcorp Hotels Q1 2026 Results: Revenue ₦22.41bn, PBT Up 15%
Transcorp Hotels Plc has filed its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026. The filing discloses revenue of ₦22.41 billion and a Profit Before Tax of ₦7.08 billion, alongside margin improvements versus the same period in 2025.
Transcorp Hotels Plc (NGX: TRANSCOHOT) released its unaudited Q1 2026 results on April 23, 2026, covering the three months ended March 31, 2026.
The Company reported revenue of ₦22.41 billion for the period, compared to ₦20.64 billion in Q1 2025, representing a 9% year-on-year increase. Profit Before Tax rose 15% to ₦7.08 billion, up from ₦6.18 billion recorded in the corresponding quarter of 2025.
Gross profit margin expanded to 77% from 75% in Q1 2025. The cost of sales margin narrowed to 23% from 25% over the same comparative period, which the Company attributed to cost optimisation measures implemented during the quarter.
Managing Director Uzoamaka Oshogwe cited operational efficiency and execution of the Company's growth agenda as factors behind the margin improvement. CFO Oluwatobiloba Ojediran noted that cost management was achieved without compromising service standards.
Transcorp Hotels is the hospitality subsidiary of Transnational Corporation Plc and operates assets including the Transcorp Hilton Abuja and the digital platform Aura by Transcorp Hotels.
