Transcorp Power Declares N41.25bn Dividend for 2025

Transcorp Power Plc announced a total dividend of N41.25 billion for the 2025 financial year during its 13th Annual General Meeting held in Abuja. The dividend, which amounts to N5.50 per share, includes an interim dividend of N1.50 and a final dividend of N4.00.

Chairman Emmanuel Nnorom highlighted the company's resilient performance, with revenue rising from N305.9 billion in 2024 to N398 billion in 2025, and profit before tax increasing by 14.25% to N91.4 billion. This performance was achieved despite macroeconomic pressures and operational challenges, including rising costs in transportation and logistics.

Nnorom noted ongoing reforms in the Nigerian electricity supply industry and the federal government's N4 trillion debt reduction plan for the power sector. CEO Peter Ikenga emphasized the company's commitment to disciplined capital allocation and maintaining operational efficiency, with total assets reported at N468 billion and liabilities at N380 billion by the end of 2025.
