Transcorp Hotels Reports 9% Revenue Growth in Q1 2026

Transcorp Hotels PLC, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation PLC, announced its unaudited results for the first quarter ending March 31, 2026. The company recorded revenues of ₦22.41 billion, marking a 9% increase from ₦20.64 billion in Q1 2025.

Profit before tax (PBT) grew by 15% to ₦7.08 billion, up from ₦6.18 billion in the previous year. The gross profit margin improved to 77% in Q1 2026, compared to 75% in Q1 2025, driven by enhanced operational efficiency and stronger service delivery.

The cost of sales margin decreased from 25% in Q1 2025 to 23% in Q1 2026, reflecting the impact of cost optimization strategies implemented during the period. Uzoamaka Oshogw, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Transcorp Hotels PLC, emphasized the company's commitment to operational excellence and value creation.

Chief Financial Officer Oluwatobiloba Ojediran noted that the results demonstrate the team's dedication to cost management without compromising service standards.
